Thompson Island’s ISLE Society for Young Professionals is a vibrant group of young philanthropists in their 20's and 30's who stand In Support of Leadership and Education (ISLE). ISLE Society events engage young professionals from around greater Boston who gather on Thompson Island and on the mainland to make new friends, network, and have fun while connecting over a good cause. Members are invited to exclusive events and are granted special access to Thompson Island events. You can find a full list of benefits below.

As a monthly donor to Thompson Island Outward Bound you can support students as they change their lives through challenge and discovery all year long. Monthly contributions help us plan in advance and help us ensure that we have what we need to fund our programs throughout the year. It's also a really easy way to set up your annual ISLE Society Membership!
Sign up today by selecting the box to “make this a recurring gift” on our donation page and choose the "monthly” option from the drop down menu. $10/month (starting in January) is enough to make you an annual member of the ISLE Society! Membership levels and monthly suggestions are outlined above.
Monthly donors will receive a fun welcome gift: a branded Expedition Notes Journal to fit in your pocket as you travel on adventures and observe your experiences! Our students use journals just like this one to record their observations while on expedition backpacking on the Island or kayaking around the Boston Harbor. Thank you for helping Thompson Island grow and thrive in 2022.
Engage the young professionals at your company through sponsorship of the ISLE Society. ISLE Society events engage young professionals from around greater Boston who gather to make new friends, network, and have fun while connecting over a good cause.
Annually, the ISLE Society engages several hundred participants, and its membership base has grown to 5x what it was in 2019, despite the challenges of the past several years.
