Thank you to all all who participated in our 2023 Fishing Invitational! On June 20th, we cheered on 27 anglers as they set out on the waters around Thompson Island for a full day of fishing and friendly competition. Thanks to the generous support of our Fishing Guides, in-kind supporters and 2023 Fishing Committee, this year's Fishing Invitational raised just over $75,500 (and counting!) to benefit outdoor education and experiential learning for Boston Public School, middle school students. Every dollar raised through this annual fundraising event has gone directly toward supporting Thompson Island Outward Bound's core mission: to provide free, hands-on science learning and social-emotional development to Boston students.
